I have to wash the dishes. (Tenho que lavar a louça.)  She doesn’t have to tell them her secret.   (Ela não tem que contar a eles o seu segredo.)  Do you have to leave early?   (Você tem que sair mais cedo?)  I have to study for my tests.   (Tenho de estudar para minhas provas.). I had to work until nine p.m. (Tive de trabalhar até às nove horas da noite.)  They didn’t have to pay the telephone bill. (Eles não tiveram de pagar a conta do telefone.)  Did they have to talk to the teacher about their grades?  (Eles tiveram que falar com o professor sobre as notas deles?)
